A designer outlet centre, similar to Bicester Village in Oxfordshire, could be coming to the O2 in Greenwich. Plans are in the early stages and a mall with more than 100 shops is proposed, according to the Evening Standard.

Designers such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Dolce & Gabbana have been suggested by the American-owned AEG Europe.

It’s hoped the addition of the designer shops will bring in more shoppers in the day time who will then spend money in the nearby restaurants.

Planning permission has been secured from Greenwich council for about 230,000 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor of the O2.
