Wake up y'all! It's mid-week and we've got just the ticket to wake you up at your desk. Push aside the coffee and press play on the video for Dream Mclean's 'D.W.I.D', the rapper's current release from his forthcoming album 'Greyscale'.

Featuring none other than Professor Green and CASisDEAD, the video is set in an abandoned house in South London; suitably dark, bass-y and with some token ladies to brighten the screen, All the rapper's verses have equal flare, with Professor Green proving he can still gain that 'urban' twang.

Check it the brilliant video below.

We met up with Dream Mclean to talk all things #GREYSCALE and music related. Read on to find out more.... To pre-order GREYSCALE, CLICK HERE.

Do you dream a lot?

Yeah, I do. I think everyone dreams a lot but doesn't remember it. When I've been smoking I don't remember my dreams but this month I'm doing Stoptober and I haven't had any drink or drugs in my system I've been having these crazy dreams, properly vivid – the other night I dreamt I had Ebola!

How did you get into rap?

I used to write and listen to music when I was in school. When I was leaving, I started writing bars and my friends at the time were doing grime and took it to them and my friend Alex Osiris had a studio in his bedroom so we just used to record in there, with our own little crew the L Dot Troopers, which is now The Regime so we just used to record all the time. I suppose we were taking it seriously but people didn't start taking us seriously for a while.

Can you play instruments?

No, I can play Justin Timberlake 'Cry Me A River' on the keyboard and 50 cent 'In Da Club'. They're the only two songs you ever need on a keyboard!

If you could learn one what would it be?

Guitar. I'd love to be able to play guitar. If I could play guitar, I'd definitely somehow use that in my live show.

Do you have a favourite bar in rap?

Off the top of my head, I'd say that my favourite bars on a track is Nas 'Get Down' purely for how good the 1st verse is and how good the 2nd verse is. It's always going to be a Nas track for me.

Quick Fire:

- Nandos or KFC - Nandos

- Nike or Adidas - Nike

- tomato or tomato? - Tomato!

- HP or Ketchup? Ketchup

We are WJ Magazine. Do you have a Jack in your life?

I have a cousin called Jack! And also Jack who makes nice clothes and gave me a sick jacket – Jack the Jacket guy!

Dream Mclean has been teasing us with little snippets of a forthcoming project this year, and he's now hit us with the goods. A single titled 'D.W.I.D' (Do What It Do), which features none other than Professor Green, and the legend that is CAS, now known as CASisDEAD.

This track speaks volumes; all three verses are a big statement in this debauched lyrical story.

Produced by High Frequency, this track is certain to make its mark. Dream's forthcoming project - 'GREYSCALE' is slated for release in November.

what's going on with the 2012 mobo award nominations

The nominations are in for the 2012 MOBO Awards and we have to say we've been left feeling a little bit confused.

Of course the usual names are in the running - Plan B, Professor Green, Wiley, Wretch 32 etc - but there are also some other questionable nominations that we're having difficulties getting our heads around.

For example Rizzle Kicks being nominated in the Best Male category, an award that is for a male solo artist. Correct us if we're wrong but the last time we check there were two guys in Rizzle Kicks making them a band and unable to be nominated for Best Male.

Moving on with have X Factor graduate Rebecca Ferguson nominated for not one but two awards including Best Female. As an artist who has really gone rather unnoticed within the music industry she seems like a very strange choice considering plenty of other very successful acts have been missed off the nominations list.

Elsewhere we have another X Factor contestant, Misha B, up for Best Newcomer. She's up against the likes of Rita Ora, Jessie Ware and Rudimental and once again we don't really see how she fits in with the rest of the names.

Call us cynical if you will but it feels like the MOBOs have lost their edge slightly this year opting for crowd pleasers and little known pop stars over big selling credible artists. They might as well quit and leave those types of awards to The Brits.

Puma and Professor Green have revealed what their joint collaboration will look like today and you can check it out below.

As you may already know Pro Green and Puma have worked together for some time now with the rapper modelling for the sportswear company on several occasions and now they've decided to join forces.

According to the official press release this new collection marries outerwear with a utilitarian feel and which has a workwear influence and as you can see in the images below is made up of tees, jumpers, caps and jackets.

And if you're wondering what that odd bear motif is on most of the pieces that is apparently a Honey Badger. Puma says that the Honey Badger (we assumed they've made the creature up?) can 'stand up in the face of intimidation' something Pro Green can apparently relate to.

So without further ado here it is...
