British rapper Plan B has been confirmed to co-star alongside Ray Winstone in the film adaptation of the classic TV series 'The Sweeney'.
Plan B, real name Ben Drew, told press that it was a 'dream come true' as the rapper's plan to become a successful actor look more and more likely. Mr B was previously seen in the 2009 Michael Caine flick 'Harry Brown', as a bad boy London gangster and starring as cockney policeman George Carter in Nick Love's adaptation shouldn't be too much of a stretch for the 27 year old we shouldn't think.
Good luck Ben and it doesn't pan out quite who you want it to....there's always Plan B?!
It has been announced that the hotly tipped new singer Liam Bailey will support Plan B and Jessie J on their tours.

Tinie Tempah is rumoured to be preparing himself for an acting debut in Noel Clarke's next project. Talking to the Daily Star, the rapper said "It's sounding like the best movie Noel's done by far. It's very international and there's a lot going on. Work schedule permitting, I'm definitely down for the role. I know my part".
So it appears Mr Tempah is looking to walk in the shoes of Plan B who was great in Harry Brown. Tinie has already read the script and spoken to Clarke about the starring role. He added "I met up with Noel at his agency and he explained how much of a big fan he is and now he's been watching my videos. He said he based the character on what he knows I'd be capable of doing. Once I read the script it made perfect sense, my sense of humour and everything. It was very thoughtful and I'm flattered of course."
Big things for the Who's Jack's favourite rapper in 2011 then. Hopefully Tinie can finally move his clothes out of his aunt's house and into his own?! Only time will tell.
The names are out. For this years Brit Awards you can look forward to seeing winners out of the nominees listed below. There is one month to go now until their heads are crowded or they go home with nowt after visiting the O2. The nominations are pretty male dominated this year but there are few surprises. The full lot are :
Plan B / The XX / Mumford and Sons / Ellie Goulding / Cheryl Cole / Take That / Rumer / Cee Lo Green (please no) / Arcade Fire / Katy Perry / Eminem
Tinie Tempah and Rihanna will be performing on the night along with Take That, Plan be and a few more to be confirmed.
We've had our eye on singer/song writer Ed Sheeran ever since he came down to one of our Jack Comes Alive nights with Example (who told us Ed was going on to achieve great things) and now it seems like we were right to take an interest in him. Ed's latest EP, No.5 Collaborations Project, has jumped to number 2 in the iTunes chart despite still being unsigned. The 8 track EP features the likes of Devlin, Wiley, Random Impulse, Mikhill Pane, Ghetts and Wretch 32 as well as many more of Ed's musical friends. At present the EP is sitting above the likes of Plan B, Kings of Leon and Tinie Tempah with only Rihanna standing in his way of the number 1 spot so we suggest you all head over to iTunes, pay your £6.32 and support this new musical talent.
