The House of Commons is about to be opened up to the public for private hire for parties in a weird bit of London news this morning.
The administration committee has agreed that some rooms in the historic building will be made available for Birthdays, weddings and bachelor parties.
If you want to get in there and have your event at The House of Commons then you can get booking from December. There will be 12 rooms available for use the Telegraph reports.
These include the Members’ dining room, where Baroness Thatcher had meals the Conservative party and two rooms in Portcullis House, which are currently used as offices for the MPs, and the Jubilee Room, which already has a wedding licence.
These new options have been brought about by the need to create further funding for the upkeep of the building.
