In the woods festivalIn The Woods festival is in its seventh year. Put together by the Laurel Collective this is the first of our smaller alternative festivals we are going to find and tell you about this year.

The In The Woods festival is held in a secret London woodland location but is never more than an hour away from London.

The 750 capacity festival is curated and pulled by a small crew of dedicated helpers as well as the Laurel Collective band themselves.

In past years the festival has welcomed new talen such as Lianne La Havas who was nominated this year for the BBC Sound of 2012 award.

In The Woods Festival is a great addition to the many small independent festivals that have popped up over the last few years. They take great effort to keep their talent new just with great potential to blow up as well as balancing that will the more obscure niche acts on the scene so that there is something for everyone.

As well as the music (yet to be announced) this year there are beautiful lights and captivating art installations scattered throughout the forest so you never know what you might come across.

There are two stages and local ales and food all at reasonable prices as well as a huge bonfire to keep everyone warm into the wee hours.

Tickets are available from April 15th.
