It’s been a long week but here’s a playlist to lighten the load. This week’s Friday Feeling brings a nice mix of Hip Hop, rap, indie, soul and grime. Sango makes another appearance in the Friday Feeling Playlist as he provides what looks to be a track from his forthcoming album. London artist Kojey Radical shared the visuals for his intense and hard hitting track ‘Bambu’, which came out back in March. Naala’s ‘Central Thought’ premiered this week on Pigeons & planes and it’s as every bit alluring and intriguing as one can imagine – definitely one to keep tabs on in the future. Jack Watts makes his FF debut with his single ‘Push Blue’. Major Lazer hooked up with Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, 2 Chainz and Mad Cobra to blend each of their sounds on ‘Night Riders’. Bonkaz finally released ‘We Run The Block’, after only performing it on stage for months. The anticipation was definitely worth it as it tipped to be one of the best tracks of the year. Other inclusions were SPZRKT’s ‘Honest’, Her’s ‘Quite Like’, Milli Major’s ‘Shut Down The Dance 2’ and Lianne La Havas’ ‘Unstoppable’. Enjoy!

lianne la havas mercury music prize live

As we told you a few months ago the organisers behind the Mercury Music Prize are planning something a bit special this year, a live show featuring some of the nominees and today we've got some more details for you.

The first of the live shows is set to take place next Wednesday (26th September) at the LSO St. Luke's venue in Old Street and will include performances from 2012 nominees Jessie Ware, Field Music and Lianne La Havas.

If you want to be there you're going to have to enter a ballot and then sit back and keep everything crossed as tickets are going to be picked at random. They'll set you back £10 but all the proceeds are going straight to War Child so at least you'll feel like you're doing something good.

The 12 nominees for the Mercury Music Prize were announced last week and included the likes of Plan B, The Maccabees, Richard Hawley, Ben Howard and Django Django however it is electro indie outfit Alt-J who are currently favourites to walk away with the prize.

lianna la havas village underground showDue to popular demand singer of the minute Lianne La Havas has added an extra London show at Village Underground.

The show is the singers second album launch gig after all tickets for her show at London's Social venue sold out in just four hours and tickets to her follow up gig at Village Underground on the 17th July followed suit. The new show at Village Underground will take place the day before on 16th July and rumour has it the tickets are going on sale later today so if you want to be there make sure you keep an eye on her website.

In other La Havas news the singer has also been added as a support for Bombay Bicycle Club's up coming UK tour which will see her playing dates in Brighton, Cambridge, Blackpool, Portsmouth and London's Alexandra Palace on 28th April.

lianne-la-havas streams scala show live for freeAhead of her single release, Lost and Found, Lianne La Havas has a sold out tour coming up so you won't be able to buy any tickets now. However, don't fret because Lianne is streaming her London Scala show live on her website.

It won't be like being there but it's pretty close and great for anyone that can't get tickets or up to London. We think more gigs should be streamed. The only thing we'll be interested to see however is the quality of image and sound as it could potentially be shoddy but we have faith.

Lianne's debut single comes out on the 30th April. It is produced by Matt Hales and will include remixes from Ifan Dafydd and Lapalux + two brand new tracks Liar and Empty.

The London based singer has also just been confirmed as the main support slot to Bombay Bicycle Club on their April UK tour, which includes shows at Alexander Palace and Blackpool Empress Ballroom. She'll also be playing at a handful of London festivals this summer to keep an eye out for her on the bill.
