Simmons, a bar we love in Kings Cross has just opened a new location in Camden that we are hugely excited about. They opened last week and will be ready to bring you some amazing cocktails from their second home on Camden High Street.

Due to popular demand the team behind King’s Cross favourite bar ‘Simmons’ has opened up a second venue nestled in the heart of Camden High Street – ‘Simmons Camden’ This new watering hole stands out from the rest, with its quirky feel and vintage - esque style, Simmons is the talk of the town as the new hotspot to hit the streets of Camden. Locals can indulge on an array of scrumptious cocktails and dance the night away to the freshest sounds pumped out by special guest DJ’s every weekend! Come down and behold the Simmons experience for yourself....

As you step into this eccentric drinking den, shield your eyes from the twinkling mirrored disco ball that is ‘The Skull’ hanging from the ceiling. Prop yourself up at the wooden panelled bar lit by an abundance of hovering lamps and the Simmons Team will make you feel right at home. This bar truly is a blast from the past with copies of old school comics and board games lining the bookshelves. Sink into the window seats and watch the world go by, while sipping on their delightful range of creative cocktails. The graffiti tables add character to this quirky venue and guests are encouraged to inscribe their own message on the school desks making this the perfect place to gather for a memorable night out with friends. Check out their funky retro wallpaper which brings you back in time! Thursdays through Saturdays the DJ booth comes alive as the masses descend upon this perfectly peculiar venue and get lost in a good time, partying till the early hours of the morning with some of the trendiest DJ’s in the area.

Simmons Camden promises a cocktail adventure which is a cut above the rest, serving up inventive cocktails in the most kitsch of surroundings. The cocktail list offers up concoctions such as Tastes Like Elliot (a mixture of fresh strawberries and cucumber mixed with Chambord Cream and apple juice) for a fruit kick there is the classic Pina Colada (Rum, cream of coconut and pineapple) or if you are in need a perk- up after a hard weeks work, we suggest you opt for the Espresso Martini (a blend of Vodka, Kahlua, fresh espresso, sugar syrup and coffee beans). If you are feeling indecisive why not take a gamble on the Cocktail slot machine and let it make the decision for you! Cocktails are served in dainty teacups or if in a group why not share a teapot which is served with a tray of accoutrements as well! Get involved in the longest happy hour ever from 4pm to 9pm with drinks starting from just £2.50.

This little number is a cocktail lovers haven which is full of surprises, offering up fun filled shenanigans till all hours. With a capacity of up to 100 people, it fills up quickly so make sure to get in early. With friendly staff, a long list of cocktails and a boisterous animated vibe, this cozy cocktail den will offer you a unique drinking experience you won’t forget!
