emma watson for beauty and the beastEmma Watson is in talks to sign on for the leading role in a remake of the Disney classic, Beauty And The Beast according to reports today.

Seemingly Watson is finding it hard to leave her fairytale-style film days behind her as she puts the Harry Potter films behind her and prepares to take on a new role which we actually think she'd be perfect for. Just like Kristen Stewart's Snow White And The Huntsman it seems that this version of Beauty And The Beast, which will simply be known as Beast, could take on a darker twist with Pans Labryinth director Guillermo Del Toro already signed on to helm the films production. Here's hoping she signs on the dotted line.
