She isn't the first actress that springs to mind when we wonder who will star in the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey but apparently Emma Watson is in line for a leading role.
According to reports today the Harry Potter and My Week With Marilyn actress is in initial talks to play the books leading character Anastasia Steele who is take in my the charms, power and money of Christian Grey.
Fifty Shades of Grey has been a phenomenon the likes of which haven't been seen since The Hunger Games or Twilight. So popular in fact is E. L. James' tale of S&M and fetish that she reportedly makes a massive £6,000 an hour from book sales.
Watson isn't the first actress to be linked to the leading role. Pretty Little Liars actresses Ashley Benson and Lucy Hale have both also been rumoured to be approached for the role but we imagine if push came to shove they'd probably pick Watson. She is after all the best known actress of the bunch but whether she's up to shacking her good-girl image for something more raunchy we're still undecided.
It has been announced this morning that Emma Watson will take on a cameo role as herself in Seth Rogen's new film End of the World.
Watson will be joined by Jason Segel and David Krumholtz who will all appear in the film as themselves.
End of the World is based in Rogen's flat which he shares with Baruchel. Both actors will also play themselves in a story about a group of people who are waiting for the end of the world to come.
They've already drafted in an impressive roster of actos including James Franco, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson and Danny McBride who will all also be playing themselves in the film.
Rogen wrote the script for the comedy with his regular writing and producing partner Evan Goldberg and both will be co-directing the movie which is due to be released in June 2013.
End of the World is now one of three end-of-the-world type films in the works at the moment. It joins Keira Knightley's Seeking a Friend for the End of the World and Abel Ferrara’s 4:44 Last Day On Earth.
Emma Watson is in talks to sign on for the leading role in a remake of the Disney classic, Beauty And The Beast according to reports today.
Seemingly Watson is finding it hard to leave her fairytale-style film days behind her as she puts the Harry Potter films behind her and prepares to take on a new role which we actually think she'd be perfect for. Just like Kristen Stewart's Snow White And The Huntsman it seems that this version of Beauty And The Beast, which will simply be known as Beast, could take on a darker twist with Pans Labryinth director Guillermo Del Toro already signed on to helm the films production. Here's hoping she signs on the dotted line.
