The team behind Dirty Bones are delighted to announce the opening of their third site in East London this summer. With hugely popular restaurants and bars already open in West London and Carnaby’s Kingly Court, the new Dirty Bones will be housed in an iconic, Grade II listed heritage building in the heart of Shoreditch.
The new Dirty Bones will serve a selection of creative New York inspired comfort food dishes and cocktails, and will be the first Dirty Bones to house an all-day dining menu. Further to the lunch, dinner, late night cocktails and weekend brunch menus already available at the Dirty Bones restaurants, Shoreditch will introduce an all-new breakfast menu, specially developed for East.
The design of Dirty Bones Shoreditch will embrace the building’s eclectic history, with a range of bespoke retro features filling the large and striking space. There will also be a lively bar area, where they will host the live band and DJ nights of old school funk, soul and hip hop music they are known for.
Meanwhile, the Dirty Bones restaurants in Kensington and Kingly Court have recently launched a series of new summer dishes on both the main and brunch menus, and recently revealed a new cocktail collection, including The Grown Ups Jaffa; The Brooklyn Spritz; and the Spiced Iced Coffee for the warmer days ahead.
Further details on the opening, new dishes and cocktails are coming soon (*and behind-the-scenes updates can be found on the Dirty Bones Instagram: @dirtyboneslondon and at www.dirty-bones.com/Shoreditch).
For the next 3 months until the 22 June The Diner will be embarking on BEEF-ERENDUM, its own poll, to help voters decide whether or not the UK should remain in the European Union. The Diner’s asking customers to choose with their tastebuds:
ARE EU IN?
If you’re swaying toward the ‘In’ vote and feeling Hungary, The Diner has you sorted. Pig out with the ‘Le Dave’ Burger. A juicy French Charolais beef patty, topped with Swiss cheese and ‘Cameronised’ onions, scattered with cornichons and all sandwiched between a brioche bun. Accompany this meaty decision with garlic pommes frites.
ARE EU OUT?
However, if independence is taking your fancy you should try The Diner’s ‘Sir Boris’. This delightful burger represents everything great about this country: a British ground chuck steak patty loaded with Smoked Applewood cheese and Middlewhite bacon squeezed into a proud floury bap. Enjoy this with a portion of British roast potatoes swimming in hot gravy!
Standings will be kept up to date on social media and the final result will be revealed on 22 June, one day before real life voting begins, so watch this space!
It’s up to EU!
French burger specialists Big Fernand are donning their party chapeaux to celebrate their first birthday and are pleased to unveil Le Balthazar, a special creation to celebrate the restaurant’s first year in London.
Billed as their Frenchest burger yet, Le Balthazar is an uber-Gallic combination of freshly-minced Charolais beef, Camembert Fermier, pork belly, Calvados and apple compote, cocktail sauce and chives. A significant upgrade on a soggy slice of birthday cake, we think you’ll agree…
And as a thank you to their loyal customers, Big Fernand will be giving away 100 burgers completely free of charge from 12 noon on Wednesday March 23. Burgers will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first 100 customers wanting to wish the brand a Bon Anniversaire.
Priced at £10 the Le Balthazar burger will be available at Big Fernand from March 23 – April 10.
