It's not every day you find a restaurant that not only has two specialities but also has an indoor market full of vegetables and seafood.

Novikov is that restaurant.

Settled off Berkeley Square just behind Green Park tube we are championing the Asian restaurant. This large, dark (in a cosy way) restaurant is full of charm - mostly provided by the brilliantly attentive staff,  kitchen behind glass and their previously mentioned 'market'.

Don't let the location or some of the clientele put you off - you might have to close your ears to the odd table of work colleagues talking loudly about their next deal but once the food comes you'll forget about that pretty fast. The price is also not too steep if you order the right things - if you go for a main rather than multiple sushi and dim sum dishes then it's affordable, alternatively it's the perfect place to go if you want to splash out.

On the menu is an enormous range of options all based around a mix of Asian cuisine and of course seafood. For some dishes you can choose, from the market,  the specific vegetables and or fish that you want for your meal then specify how you would like it cooked and with what sauce/additions you would like to include.

We went for some excellent salmon and avocado rolls which put the emphasis on the salmon rather than rice, some prawn tempura rolls which came with an amazing sauce and black cod dumplings.

The Green Tea Brulee is pretty special as is, funnily enough the Crudité that each table gets to start - we've never had such good raw vegetables.
