London seems to like to do the Christmas Tree ‘different’. Sure there are a few traditional offerings around but there are also an increasing number of unusual ones.
To do an unusual Christmas Tree spot this year you can check out the following :
Kings Cross has a laser tree over looking the canal that lights up at certain points of the day / evening.
Stokey went bright this year with a flouro pink offering. There are in fact four Christmas trees across the borough so you can tree spot them all. It’s all in aid of ‘Making Hackney Sparkle’.
Covent Garden has gone for a 15ft topiary reindeer instead of a tree. This lights up in the evening and is a lovely bush during the day.
These bicycle-powered trees on Riverside Terrace were created by Vivid Design Works and Electric Pedals. You can help power them on the Festival Terrace, Level 2 Foyers at Royal Festival Hall.

Of course you could always look out for Lady Gaga as well.
If we’ve missed any let us know!
Thank you to Emily Beeson YGT @ for pointing out that the V&A has a great fuzzy red antler tree!
