Tween's autumn/winter '11 collection mastered the art of fabric exploration at this year's London Fashion Week. Garments ranging from tweed jackets to loose fitting leather trousers, successfully bridged the gap between luxury tailoring and functional day wear to form a wearable and effortlessly stylish menswear line. Models carried rolled blankets and shoulder straps to accessorize their looks and further the "discovery and venture" vibe to the collection. Although most of the designs were fairly safe in composition, detailing such as turned up trousers, elongated leather elbow patches and subtle fabric texturing modernized and enlivened the clothing on show. The highlight look worked a mustard yellow macintosh style coat with detachable hood and low slung black trousers. Tween clothing is stocked Harvey Nichols, Matches and House of Fraser.
