Todd Lynn‘s SS14 showcase was a masterclass in effortless, elegant, sexy style.
Tailoring was key as masculine two piece suits were given a loose, floating, feminine edge or otherwise feminine midi length pencil dresses were toughened up with block colours and patent textures. The words-du-jour were sexy and edgy, with some jackets only just concealing the modesty of bare chests, jumpsuits that had barely-there black and nude lace and sleeveless leather biker jackets over the top of loose soft materials.
The colour palette was muted and sophisticated, with black, white, burnished gold, steel grey, pale blue and olive green all making an appearance. Mostly these were kept simple as block colours though a recurring vertical blue print mixed things up a little, there were dashes of wet-look kleather and then scintillating lace designs which finished the show.
