For Spring 2015 Levi's are tapping into a cast of global emerging and known musicians to reinvigorate a key element of the brand’s DNA - their connection to music. Music has always been at the center of everything Levi's does. Their ‘Live In Levi’s®’ Spring campaign celebrates the classic and iconic Levi’s® 501®, as worn by musicians and those intimately involved in the music industry.
“For decades musicians have chosen Levi’s® as one of the ways they assert their authentic self-expression. They wear them their own way, with their own unique personal style. From Bruce Springsteen to the Ramones, from Gwen Stefani to Beyonce, Levi’s® have represented true originality and authenticity and remain the choice of those who seek to express that,” said Jen Sey, Chief Marketing Officer for the Levi’s® brand. For Spring 2015 we’ll celebrate this authenticity of self expression through music with a cast of diverse and original voices.”
The ‘Live In Levi’s®’ campaign will feature real musicians’ unique personalities and the stories of how they live (and rock) in their Levi’s®. In addition to the launch of the 501®CT jean, we will also feature musicians in our most iconic products: 501®, 511, the Skinny Jean and the Trucker Jacket. Global artists include pop rock sister trio Haim, London indie rock band The Vaccines, LA based Local Natives, singer-songwriter Twin Shadow’s George Lewis Jr, vocalist Kilo Kish, Japanese drummer Kavka Shishido, Hong Kong-based actor and singer Shawn Yue and rock-influenced electronica musician Dualist Inquiry from India.
