Did you know that there is a farmers market right beside Blackheath Station, every Sunday from 10-2pm?

If you are a foodie—and let's face it most of us are—you can pop down to the Blackheath Farmers' Market and find a massive array of produce straight from the farm. There are gorgeous flower stalls, too, and you can even grab something delicious for lunch.

Blackheath is often overlooked as a London destination but it's truly a cool place for a day out whether you are already in London or coming from further afield.

Not only should you go for the excellent market itself but you should also stroll over the heath, which is surrounded by some lovely pubs. Greenwich is a short jaunt away as well! If you fancy a walk and don't want to hill climb, you can catch sight of the Greenwich Meridian line from the Blackheath side! If you've been filling your belly with a load of tasters from the farmers market, that's probably wise.
