Just like the guy you see in his shorts standing on the train platform or the girl who decided to dig her flip flops out of the bottom of the wardrobe this morning, Costa is ready for summer.

Today Costa Coffee, the nation’s favourite coffee shop, launched a brand new Seriously Summer store in London to mark the start of summer and the launch of Costa’s new summer food and drink menu.

The Great Portland Street store is one of three specially chosen locations across the UK to be refurbished with a new tropical décor.

Costa will bring summer to London with the store which will be transformed with full sized window, floor, wall and table vinyl’s printed with tropical prints and flamingos. Hot pink neon signs will light up the store, while brightly patterned coasters and cushions and plants will adorn the interior.

The flagship store will have a selfie zones where customers can pose in a Miami themed setting complete with sun loungers, fake grass and flamingos. Customers could be in with the chance of winning Seriously Summer in-store pieces if they tag their selfie with#seriouslysummerselfie.

Baristas in the Seriously Summer store will wear t-shirts specially designed by lifestyle, entertainment and fashion website Refinery 29 as part of an ongoing partnership.

The new Seriously Summer store is unveiled today as Costa’s summer food and drink ranges go on sale at Costa stores across the UK. The new menu includes Costa’s new SuperDay Smoothies and Rainbow Salad Wraps.

SuperDay Smoothies are made from 100% real fresh fruit, blended and prepared by Costa’s baristas, and are available in three refreshing flavours. The Rainbow Salad Wraps are high in protein, under 350 Kcal, low carb, and offer a fresh and healthy alternative to your usual lunchtime sandwich.
