Tickets are now on sale for London’s spectacular Christmas destination - Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Returning on 20th November for six exciting weeks of winter festivities with FREE admission and even more entertainment than before. PWR Events and The Royal Parks are thrilled to announce the main attractions that will be making a welcome return to the capital’s most popular and dazzling winter event.

The hugely successful sub-zero experience - The Magical Ice Kingdom will host even more fantastical snow and ice sculptures. This year children and adults are invited to walk through the fairy forest to discover a frozen lake and the ice queen, explore the ice palace, sit on the thrones and slide down the castle slide. Filled to the brim with awe-inspiring snow and ice sculptures including magical princesses, frozen animals and ogres the Magical Ice Kingdom is the biggest ice and snow sculpture experience of its kind in the UK.

Next to the Magical Ice Kingdom, sits Bar Ice, an intimate ice bar back by popular demand. Enter the Arctic environment where a handcrafted bar, tables, walls and sculptures glisten with ice and enjoy a chilled cocktail.

The Ice Rink will return and once again be located around the picturesque Victorian Bandstand, on which there will be live music played throughout the day and night as skaters take to the ice for a spin. Stretching over 1,600m2 it is the UK’s largest outdoor ice rink. For those who want to gaze at the action from above, the iconic Giant Observation Wheel will illuminate the skyline.

Always a sell-out, the UK’s favourite circus, Zippos Circus returns with two shows - their ever-popular daytime show for all the family, Zippos Christmas Circus – The Perfect Gift and an evening show for older thrill seekers, Cirque Berserk. Housed again in the Mega Dome, the biggest circus venue in the UK standing over 65ft tall designed especially for Winter Wonderland.

This year’s circus is a real Christmas cracker of a show. In Zippos Christmas Circus - The Perfect Gift Zippo's star clown Pip is looking for the best Christmas present ever. Join him on his search and discover an international array of the world’s finest circus acts including jugglers, the wheel of death, jaw dropping acrobats, aerialists on a cloud swing and silks and The Ringmaster in a thrilling and fun-filled 45 minute family circus spectacular.

For the evening crowd Zippos returns with Cirque Berserk – Adrenaline a danger-filled spectacle combining contemporary cirque style skills with off-the-scale thrilling stunt action. Presenting the world’s most dangerous circus act, the legendary Globe of Terror, 3 motorcyclists speeding at over 60mph inside a steel cage are joined by a troupe of over thirty jugglers, acrobats, aerialists, dancers, musicians and death-defying stunt men in London’s most awesome Thrill Circus. Zippos VIP boxes will be available to hire for Cirque Berserk, where you receive fast-track entry and watch the show from the comfort of your own private box with a bottle of champagne and delicious chocolates, all included in the price.

Other favourite attractions making a welcome return include Santa Land, a haven for young visitors where Father Christmas will be every day with his Elves and a sack of free gifts. For those Christmas shoppers, there’s the traditional German Christmas market with over 200 chalets. The Angels Christmas Market offers unusual and handmade gifts and crafts, including ceramics, candles, jewellery, wooden toys, nativity scenes and Christmas decorations.

The ever-popular Bavarian Village will be ready to serve even more bratwurst and mulled wine whilst hosting live music throughout the day and evening. In addition to the many restaurants and bars there will be delicious food available throughout the attraction to help you warm up on a cold crisp winter’s day. And for those thrill-seekers, there will be an array traditional and high energy rides.
