They’ll be no more budding actors and actresses hanging out in the Mayfair pub the Punchbowl any more. Guy Ritchie won’t be walking in any time soon.
The Punchbowl, famously owned by the Lock Stock director has been sold after Ritchie first bought it in February 2008.
The pub had a fitting history for the gangster loving Ritchie, being previously owned by Greg Foreman, son of gangster Freddie Foreman. Ritchie and Madonna bought the Farm Street pub for a reported £2.5 million.
The pub was joint managed by Ritchie and Piers Adam and reports say they are sad to see it go but have been assured the new owners will keep the spirit of the pub alive.
The 300 year old pub was a favourite for Princes William and Harry and celebrities including James Corden, Robert Downey Jr, Sophie Dahl, Kevin Spacey, and more.
