London's expensive, there can be no doubt about that. So most of us probably feel that charity needs to start at home as we have so few pennies left over half the time. BUT Christmas is time for giving and a time for being festive too (obvs). So how about putting this Carol Service in your diary.
It's raising money for Bowel Cancer and it's at the beautiful Marylebone Church.
Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity, will be hosting its fifth annual carol concert. The concert will be held in the iconic St Marylebone Church, London on Thursday 8 December at 6pm.
This year’s concert will be led by the City of London School for Girls and the prestigious Jo Padfield quartet, with readings from special guests including Patron Charlene White. This will be followed by festive refreshments.
In addition, St Marylebone Church will proudly unveil its Christmas tree with accompanying Bowel Cancer UK ‘Star of Hope’ decoration (which allows guests to write special messages to loved ones on their decorations before hanging them).
Tickets cost £15 each, and are available here: bowelcanceruk.org.uk/shop
