Final Rooftop Film Club

queen_of_hoxton_rooftop_film_club2The final programme for The Rooftop Film Club summer season has been released for venues in Shoreditch, Peckham Rye and Ealing.

With September fast approaching it really is your last chance to see your favourite film up high in the London skies.

Rooftop Film Club’s new West London Rooftop in Ealing Broadway must end on Sunday 8th September. Don’t miss their final week of film fun at this Car Park come Cinema as they present three Rooftop favourites: Baz Luhrman’s modern take on Shakespeare’s famous play with the phenomenal ‘Romeo + Juliet’ on Wednesday 4th, John Hughes’s quintessential 1980s high school drama ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Thursday 5th and some Friday night action with the one and only ‘Top Gun’. Who feels the need for speed?

They top off the weekend with a tip of the hat to their neighbours at the famous Ealing Film Studios with ‘Notting Hill’ on Saturday 7th September and the best of the Ealing comedy collection with Alec Guinness and Peter Sellers in the 1955 classic ‘The Ladykillers’ on Sunday 8th September.

It’s not over that soon though Rooftoppers, as the party in Peckham continues to rock throughout September with one of the best views in London from the Bussey Building Rooftop Bar. Famous for its Happy Hour (6-7pm) and 360º panoramic views of the city skyline to get you in the mood for movie greats such as ‘Drive’, ‘Dazed and Confused’, ‘Grease 2’, ‘Sin City’, ‘Life of Pi’, ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘E.T.’, ‘Big Fish’, ‘Mamma Mia!’, and a rooftop debut for Sigourney Weaver in the much loved classic ‘Alien’. If it’s action you crave they also have a muscle flexing Arnie Double Bill with ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’ and ‘Total Recall’ on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September.

More more mooooore…! At the Queen of Hoxton in the heart of cool London, and surrounded by a breathtaking urban landscape, they take you on a trip down cinematic memory lane with ‘Breathless’ from the 60s to ‘The Breakfast Club’ of the 80s to 2012 blockbusters like ‘Spring Breakers’ on the 1st September. The hot coals are fired up and ready to go so join them early for delicious food from the BBQ and refreshing drinks on the best rooftop in town alongside film favourites including ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild’, ‘The Wedding Singer’, ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Empire Records’, ‘This is Spinal Tap’, ‘Con Air’, ‘Top Gun’ and the action packed ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’.

Their big screen, high quality wireless headphones and comfy seats mean you can sit back, relax and experience film like never before in these completely unique urban environments.

This summer has already seen over 150 sold out screenings, so don’t miss your chance to get tickets for the ultimate film experience at a rooftop near you.
