Here's one for London kiddies on half term - Profiterole Classes from Piquet.
Get ready for three opportunities to give your little ones a lesson in icing, dusting and piping over the holidays.
On three selected dates, celebrated Chef Patron Allan Pickett will be turning the elegant surroundings of The Fir Room into the ultimate candy-coated playground with a series of DIY profiterole decorating classes. From fruit-flavoured creams and chunky chocolate chips to Jelly Tot gems and tons of glitter, the kids can release their inner-chef and pipe their way to profiterole paradise. There will also be a selection of animal-shaped shortbreads and cookies to decorate (and eat of course!), all freshly baked on-site from the acclaimed Piquet kitchen.
Located just a stone’s throw from Oxford Street, the classes will run from 10am – 11.30am on 21st July, 4th August, and 18th August. Tickets cost £15 per child, which includes refreshments, a paper chef hat and the opportunity to take home all of their candied creations – and whilst the kids get messy – parents are invited to sit back and relax with complimentary tea and coffee.
Whether it’s a children’s party or a sweet morning treat to kick start a day of fun-filled activities – choux away summer holiday boredom at Piquet!
