According to London Transport the best way to avoid delays on the tube is to just decide that there is no delay. Oh great, that's cleared that up then!
Someone somewhere on the committee for London Underground thinks commuters are really dumb. A new set of rules have been put in place to determine what is a delay, a minor delay and a severe delay.
Now there has to be a delay of up to 10 minutes before a train is deemed to have 'minor delays' which we all know is a long wait when the standard is around 3/4.
This generally now means that a 9 minute gap between trains on any line is technically deemed a good service.
