This February will see an exhibition of high quality, hand-painted signs by some of today's finest sign-painters. Business As Usual celebrates the delicate art of nonsense, promoting completely ludicrous products & services in the form of high quality signs, expertly rendered in enamel, wood, metal, glass and gold.
The Book Club would like to invite you to this exciting new show ‘Business as Usual’ with work by: Ash Bishop, Archie Proudfoot, Carl Fredrik AKA ‘Frisso’, Dapper Signs, Dry British, Fly of Fly Signs, Ged Palmer, Jack Hollands, Letterknight, Paul Mysercough, Peter Anthony, Von Leadfoot, Tristan Kerr. Opening on February 12th, this exhibition has brought a diverse range of talent together all selected by Ged Palmer and directed by Liat Chen.
The artists will produce a large mural on the windows of The Book Club to celebrate the opening and work will also be shown at Stories in Broadway Market.
And here's a nice glimpse at how a hand painted sign is created by Dapper Signs;
