As the mercury in the thermometer has reached scorching point in the city, things have also been sizzling in the Screening Room at W London – Leicester Square. Over the past few months, Soho’s hottest hotel has played host to a selection of round-the-world themed screenings, in partnership with renowned independent film magazine, Little White Lies.
Taking over W London’s Film Club for the summer, the Little White Lies screenings bring together eight cinematic masterpieces from across the globe to be celebrated and enjoyed in the most glamorous location in central London.
This week marks the half waypoint of this international film tour, having started in England with Long Good Friday and travelled to France for Breathless and Italy for L’Eclisse. The next screening sees the films move across the sea to Japan for Ran before heading down under to Australia for Animal Kingdom and the USA for Body Double.
As well as the classic films on offer, each of the screenings includes a custom-made cocktail created to capture the spirit of the countries visited and a box of popcorn. On arrival guests will also receive a passport that will be stamped at every screening, with the chance to collect an exclusive free Little White Lies designed print for any avid film fans that collect four or more stamps.
Hosted in the luxurious and contemporary W London Screening room the Little White Lies ‘Around the World in Eight Films’ take-over combines the latest film technology with mouth-watering cocktails and an iconic location.
Tickets for the Little White Lies W London take-over screenings are £10 each and include one complimentary themed cocktail and box of popcorn.
